Consumers are shifting their purchases to the Internet. E-commerce sales will account for 21% of total global retail sales this year, with U.S. retail e-commerce sales expected to exceed $1 trillion, according to eMarketer.
As more consumers turn to their devices to shop, so do their expectations for the online shopping experience. In fact, according to a recent correlation report, “93% of consumers want the same or better digital experience as in-store”.
