After working in the field of immersive technology for a few years, I can feel the dramatic changes in consumer behavior. In the past few months, my conversations with brands and companies have been less propelled and more drawn. People get it, love it and want more.

Gone are the conversations of previous years, “Virtual reality, tried it, and it makes me feel sick!” Now I hear people (but still relatively few) talk about how FitXR has completely changed their fitness habits, or How do they do “this thing” on the app to help decide what color to paint their walls or whether to buy that bookshelf (also known as augmented reality (AR)).
